Stirling Central Medical Group is an independently owned and run general practice established in 1997 with the vision of administering the best available medical services to our community.
We are open 6 days a week and on public holidays (except Good Friday and Christmas Day).
Our hours are
Monday to Wednesday 8.30am – 6.30pm
Thursday 8.30am – 7.00pm
Friday 8.30am – 6.30pm
Saturday 9.00am – 2.00pm
Sunday Closed
Public Holidays: 9.00 am – 1.00 pm
We are closed Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
Our doctors provide the full range of general practice care including the treatment of acute and chronic conditions, preventative medicine, pap smears, contraceptive implant insertion & removal, skin checks, antenatal and paediatric care, childhood immunizations, surgical procedures, ECG’s, spirometry, and sexual health checks.

All of our doctors are vocationally trained general practitioners and the medical centre is an accredited practice. Accreditation is voluntary but is your assurance of a high standard of quality and performance that is independently assessed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) standards. Our practice is committed to continuously meeting the standards in order to maintain a high level of safety and quality.
Stirling Central Medical Group is a recognised teaching practice and we have a strong commitment to undergraduate (medical student) and postgraduate (GP registrar) education. The registrars usually spend 6-12 months with us to gain invaluable experience in order to complete their training. If a medical student is sitting in on a consult, you will be notified by the staff on arrival and the doctor will for your consent prior to starting the consultation.
